The crucial thing in art is the "distortion of the mind" that is submerged in the depths. Modern people, who overlook the importance of the unconscious, increasingly see phenomena and do not know the reasons for them.

Blaise Pascal likened it to "a person who has no spirit, but only eyes." I want to be preoccupied with imaging for something we cannot see. I think that's why I've been focusing on emptiness, futility, and the unconscious for so long.
